Our international client, with a local office based in Vancouver, BC provides a diverse range of engineering and environmental consulting services to clients in the public and private sectors both locally and internationally.  We are seeking an Intermediate Environmental Engineer to jointheir dynamic Contaminated Sites Team. You will work on a wide variety of projects involving field supervision, data analysis, and reporting for environmental sampling, environmental site assessments, and remediation. With guidance from senior staff, you will manage small to medium-size projects and work in multi-disciplinary teams to develop innovative solutions fortheir clients. You will also provide training and mentoring to junior staff members. This is an excellent growth opportunity.

Qualifications:

·Undergraduate degree in environmental, geological, civil or chemical engineering is required; an advanced degree would be an asset.

·4+ years of experience working in contaminated sites and knowledge of current industry related codes of practice and regulations (both provincial and federal).

·Eligibility for membership with APEGBC is required.

·Excellent interpersonal and mentoring skills, and the and the ability to work well as part of a team are essential to this position.

·Effective and professional technical writing and verbal communication skills are critical as the job entails interaction with clients, subcontractors, and government agencies.

·You will also possess exceptional time management skills, be flexible, and adapt well to change.

·A satisfactory driver's abstract is required.
