Principal Engineer
State: Northwest or Colorado

Compensation: 150K - 180K
Our client is an employee owned national science and engineering firm providing multidisciplinary services in the fields of Health, Environment, Technology, and Sustainability.
We are currently seeking a Principal Engineer to grow their engineering practice area. Qualified candidates should have an M.S. or PhD degree in geotechnical, coastal, environmental, chemical, civil, or related engineering field, and be a licensed P.E. with recognized expertise in the design of sediment remediation projects. Eligible candidates should have 10+ years of experience in environmental engineering, project management, and regulatory negotiations and a proven track record in the marketing and development of engineering business, growth of an engineering practice area, and conduct of complex and innovative engineering projects. Preference will be given to candidates with an applied knowledge of coastal engineering; sediment dredging, disposal, capping, natural recovery and treatment; river and estuary restoration; and associated regulatory requirements. Experience relating to investigation and remediation of contaminated soil and groundwater and stormwater management is also desirable. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must.
The location for placement of this position is negotiable. Our client has offices located throughout the United States.
