Our client has a strong and growing group of groundwater professionals working across Northern and Western Canada. We have an immediate opening in their Okanagan Region, BC office for an Intermediate Hydrogeologist with five to ten years of consulting experience in groundwater resources. You will work on interesting and challenging projects mostly located throughout BC; however occasional work in Alberta, the Yukon and Northwest Territories will also be available.
As an Intermediate Hydrogeologist, you will manage medium to large sized projects, coordinate collection of field data and supervise multidisciplinary teams, analyze data and complete reports, assist with business development and proposals.
Qualifications:
Successful candidates will have, or be eligible for registration with APEGBC as a P.Geo. or P.Eng. with knowledge of diverse tools and techniques in hydrogeologic data collection and analysis. A Masters degree is an asset. Work experience with a strong emphasis on field-based investigations in water supply, water resources and physical hydrogeology is required. The ideal applicant will have a proven familiarity with environmental consultancy, provincial regulations, combined with a willingness and aptitude for leadership and business development.
